I’m a self employed care/enabler trading as Forget Me Not Care and Support, based in Torquay.

I provide care/support and enabling to clients in their own homes, with a passion for what I do on a day to day basis and very proud of the way I do my job.

It’s important that my clients are happy and have the reassurance that the same friendly face is going to be there at the same time, on every visit and for the time frame they choose, so their care and support can be given at a pace they are comfortable with.

I have been working in care now for 5 years, but before that I was a carer for members of my own family, including my mother for a number of years. When you have to help and provide care for a loved one, it gives you a different understanding and empathy for how hard it can be for clients and their families. I use my experience to give the best care I can possibly give with each and every client.

The ways I look to help those who need it: personal care, companionship, medication prompting, cooking and meal preparation, domestic tasks, shopping, avoiding isolation with outings, transporting  to appointments, community groups, pet care, respite for family members that need time to relax or get things done and so much more. All offered in days, night, sleep shifts.

I am experienced and have references, public liability insurance, business car insurance. Enhanced DBS on the update service. Up to date with all my care certificates and always looking for new courses to do, to keep my knowledge up and a member of the NACAS (National Association of Care and Support Workers)
