Some things to think about when you're looking for care or support
Find out moreDo you identify as being both female and Neurodiverse? Or perhaps you are a Parent Carer of a child or adult with additional needs. If so, life can be particularly challenging. I offer a safe, nurturing, supportive and informative space in which to explore what this means for you. As a Neurodiverse Counsellor and as a Parent Carer myself I come from a place rooted in compassion, gentle curiosity and lived experience and I would like to support you to find a way forwards.
Our work together will be as unique as you are. Perhaps you’re struggling to find the right words or to make sense of your experience. Working creatively can offer a transformational opportunity to understand yourself more fully, to become aware of your behaviours and to focus on what brings you meaning and purpose in life. Sessions are always led by you.
Neurodiversity is a way of describing the naturally occurring variation in the ways that our brains work. This includes Dyslexia, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Autism, Tourette’s syndrome, Dyscalculia as well as Neurotypical individuals. This may impact on information processing, attention, mood, communication, coordination and social interactions and your relationship with yourself and others. Together we can look at Neurodiversity and what it means for you alongside any other area of your life that you would like to explore such as identity, anxiety, loss or parenting.
