Rainbow Angel

Hi, there my name is Ruth, I’m a self-employed Personal Community Micro-Enterprise Assistant  and Rainbow Angel is my Micro-Enterprise.
I’m known as a social butterfly with rainbow hair who loves being in the company of people.
I believe that every person should be able to have their own unique personal needs and aspirations met and I’d love to help you stay as independent as possible.
I can do this with you in your home, in the community, we can go shopping, visit family and friends, go for a cuppa, a day out or even for a walk or a drive and enjoy life.
You and I can assess your unique needs and goals, by doing this we can make your own personal plan for us to work with together.
I work with adults with a wide range of needs such as learning disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s, mental health, medical conditions, Autism and alongside other vulnerable adults who may need extra support in their day-to-day life.
I have 20 years of extensive experience in fostering children and young people with a wide range of difficulties from behavioural to mental health issues.
I recently decided it was time for a change after caring for my mother in law who was terminally ill, after seeing the gaps in available care plans that were generic and not individual.
This gave me the idea to set up my own Micro Enterprise, with the help of Mark from Kirklees Community Catalyst, to give you the option of unique personal plans that are made with yourself to suit yourself.
I have a full DBS, Public Liability Insurance,  full clean Driving License and I am appropriately trained.
If you’d like a chat to discuss possibilities, please don’t hesitate to contact me, and I’ll be happy to assist you in any way I can.
