Some things to think about when you're looking for care or support
Find out moreIt is an exciting time coming up for Engage Here. For the 6-week online pilot course, I want to re-energise and stimulate the person living with dementia and their carer. I believe that if a person is valued and given a non-judgemental space to express themselves, everyone will benefit. 5 people with dementia and 5 carers who live with them.
By reinventing processes to enable any stage to access creative techniques at their own level for weekly arts medicine. Dementia is one of the most feared conditions and COVID has given us the evidence that arts for wellbeing is so beneficial. By offering art-based services we are providing the community with more than just medicalised solutions. Relinquishing some of the burdens on GP’s and hospitals, and allowing people needing those services to access them more easily.
Engage Here’s way forward is through partnerships. Would this be possible to use beneficiaries of people 65 + with any stage dementia? Please ask me any questions you have.
