Hello, my name is Shelly and I am a qualified, experienced and professional support and care worker working in Street, Glastonbury, Somerton, and surrounding areas.  I have a level 4, Higher National Diploma in Health and Social Care and Counselling. I am also fully insured and DBS checked. I aim to provide a compassionate care and support service to adults in their own homes.

I provide both care at home and support to access the community.  I have experience of supporting adults with learning difficulties, as well as providing care at home for older people and people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and are coming towards the end of their life.

I can help with things like getting up in the morning, washed and dressed, reminding you to take any medications that you need to take, helping you with any toileting difficulties you might have, preparing your meals, doing your housework, taking you to medical appointments, shopping or out for the day, or just coming over to have a cup of tea and keep you company!

Or maybe you need some help with gardening or dog walking?

Sleep ins are another service that I offer for people who are unable to or just prefer not to be left alone during the night. I am available to come to your house from 8pm until 8am.

I also provide a sitting service to give main carers such as husbands, wives, other family members or other live in carers a break. This involves coming to the house for anything between an hour or a full day to allow the main carer time to go out and do things that they need to do, visit friends, get some head space, or just catch up on some sleep!

I am able to work in Street, Glastonbury, Somerton and surrounding areas.
