Stepping out into Nature is a part of Cwm Taf People First and we are a a charity that is run by and for people with learning disabilities who live in the areas of Rhondda-Cynon-Taff. Our aim is to empower our members to challenge prejudice and discrimination through training, education and support.
Alongside our advocacy role, Cwm Taf People First also offer a programme aimed at giving adults with a learning disability as well as the wider community the opportunity to engage in nature through learning about animals, flowers and plants, climate change and the power of nature to help with physical and mental wellbeing.
Our project will work with both individuals and small groups to make sure that everyone has the change to go outside into nature and learn about our outdoor areas as well as benefitting from them.
If you would like to become part of our project then please get in touch.
