Hello, my name is Claire and I have worked and supported clients in the Health and Social Care sector for over thirty years. I qualified and worked as a Registered Nurse from 1991-2021 and have worked in a variety of complex care settings including hospitals, nursing homes and domiciliary care / community home care.
I am an outgoing professional, reliable and conscientious. I have a great sense of humour and enjoy creating a calm and safe homely environment, conducive to the well-being of my clients and their families, enabling and supporting clients to remain as independent as possible living in their own homes. I have many years of vast and varied experience with complex physical and mental health conditions including dementia and degenerative neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, MS and dystrophies. I am competent and experienced with catheter /conveen care, PEG feeds and oxygen therapy / nebulisers. I am very experienced with end of life care and have a diploma in palliative care.
I keep myself up to date with all standard mandatory training and relative research & publications.
