‘Move with Ease’ helps people manage and recover from persistent pain and chronic health conditions through clinical massage therapy, breathing and mindfulness techniques, yoga and mobility exercises and Pain Reprocessing therapy. All ‘Move with Ease’ services stimulate the ‘rest, digest and repair’ branch of the nervous system and offer practical solutions to regulate emotional health by reducing stress and anxiety.

• Pain Reprocessing Therapy facilitates an understanding of why pain develops and persists, and teaches effective brain-rewiring techniques to interrupt the pain-fear cycle.
• When in physical or emotional pain, one’s default breathing is fast, irregular, and upper-chest, keeping the nervous system in a constant ‘fight, flight, freeze’ state. Gentle Buteyko breathing techniques shift this to slow, diaphragmatic, regular nose-breathing.
• Clinical massage therapy reduces musculoskeletal tension through a hands-on medium, in addition to offering practical techniques to reduce stress.
• Yoga and mobility exercises empower the physical body by developing a balance of strength and flexibility which tells the brain that your body is safe and fit for the next moment.

All ‘Move with Ease’ services are built on the foundation of mindful practices and develop one’s relationship with the physical, mental and emotional self; learning to meet yourself with love and kindness. All services, aside from clinical massage therapy, can be experienced in peer-support groups or on an individual basis.
