Time Out Support Services Ltd

When we opened The Time Out Club in August 2018 it was our aim to ensure a relaxed safe environment where our clients can enjoy some time away from families and carers and make new friends.
This enables families to recharge with the knowledge their loved ones are being supported by a caring professional team. The team are all fully trained and have current DBS certificates.
Our sessions run Monday -Friday 9.30-2.30pm. This includes a two course meal cooked on the premises by our team who have all completed their food hygiene courses. Hot and cold refreshments are also served throughout the day.
The team are trained to assist with medication and help with personal care.
The day starts with a warm welcome, tea and coffee with a biscuit, followed by a fun packed day designed by our experienced team. This includes reminiscence, current affairs, quizzes, seated exercise,  art & craft, and music therapy in several different forms. Regular visits from a therapy dog and weather permitting we spend as much time as we can in our beautiful garden.
We are able to offer one to one for clients who would like, or would benefit from some individual support.
Every six weeks we hold a support meeting for families and carers to come and spend time chatting with people who are in similar situations. The group will have a chance to speak with professionals who can help with advice and support.
Our team are happy to provide support and entertainment for loved ones in The Time Out Club whilst the support group is running next door.
