Blossom Care

Blossom Care –
Hi, my name is Jane and I am a self employed care support worker. I am 59 years young and I have worked in the care industry for the past 12 years. I have mostly worked in dementia and elderly care but I also have experience with learning disability, autism, complex needs and mental health.
I am a caring and compassionate person by nature and I pride myself on being able to use these qualities in  my work. I believe in a person centred approach as we are all individuals, whether you require support to maintain your independence in your own home or you just want companionship, a cup of tea and a chat, I am here to meet your needs.
Services I can provide are:
# Personal Care – showering/bathing/washing, support with dressing, continence care and prompting of medication etc.
# Grocery shopping – whether you would like a slow paced shopping trip or you would like to give me your grocery list and I can collect it for you.
# Light household chores – hoovering , dusting, washing dishes etc.
# Appointments- whether you require support during appointments , transport to and from doctors, hospital, etc.
# Companionship – I can provide a sitting in service if your loved one needs to pop out or I can give a few hours respite care.
# Meal preparation -whether it means a sandwich, warm up a ready meal or support you to prepare a full meal from scratch.
 # Outings- whether you want to get out and about locally, a spot of lunch, join local groups or stay connected with friends and family.
Waking night service options can be discussed.
If you or your loved ones require any of my services, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I have  a full current DBS and public liability insurance and business car insurance. NACAS member.
