Hi, I’m Lou… I have been a professional care support worker for many years and always provide a warm, fun and friendly face to brighten your day. I have assisted many families who have needed additional support for their loved one, whether they be young or are of the older generation. Your needs are at the heart of everything I do, and the care and assistance provided will be tailored just to you. I am DBS cleared, fully insured, registered with the ICO for data protection purposes (protecting your personal information) and have been trained over the years to a very high standard, of which I am very proud and strive to maintain with all my clients. I can assist clients who are dealing with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s etc.. and also end of life care – I am familiar with a lot of the local GP practices and district nurses which helps people greatly. I have experience of working with families whose loved one has complex needs such as PEG feeding, stoma care, tracheostomy and suction, cerebral palsy, motor neurone disease to name but a few. I can assist with administering medication be they tablets, liquids, creams, eye and ear drops etc. Help with personal care can be given and this could range from just being there in case of a slip or fall, or giving a full body wash in the shower or bath. Now we get to the fun bit… if you are needing assistance to go shopping or collect a prescription etc. then this is something that we can do together. We can also go for trips out, anything from a jaunt to the local garden centre, nipping out for fish n chips on a Friday to a planned visit for a day out. I can provide respite care as well, so if your loved one wanted to pop out then I would be very happy to come and spend some time with you whilst they are completing their chores. I would be more than happy to help with light household chores, laundry, hoovering, washing up, that kind of thing – whatever you need to make your life a little bit easier. I am here for you and look forward to meeting you soon… warmest regards, Lou
