We are mother Alison and daughter Lauren who have always had careers in the care industry. Alison has also been a health and social care trainer for 18 years. We both love being in the caring industry and have a real passion, but since our mum/Nannie was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the young age of 58 we really saw how different it was when it’s your loved one.
This then gave us the passion to set up a day centre to help other families going through what we did.
We understand how hard it is to let someone into your life to now care for your loved one, and how hard it is to trust them.
We want to reassure you that your loved one will be well looked after, we will be having lots of fun, whilst in a safe and social environment.
We are based in Copdock, Ipswich and have a beautiful barn, we have lots of outside grounds for walks and a garden area for planting fruit and vegetables.
We want to help you have the time you need and help make each day a little brighter.
We have also created a space upstairs for family/carers to meet so they can talk about each others’ experiences and share information with each other.
You are welcome to come and visit our day centre anytime to have a look around.
We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:00am – 15:00pm but soon we will be open all week.
