Enablement support services to provide ongoing or short term support in the evenings and/or weekends. Online support via Teams call, face 2 face support to meet in the community. Private consultation via hiring a meeting room. Heads Up aim is to provide a preventative service to the local community as well as providing education and signposting to other services. Flexible in my approach in working in a person centred, solution focused way to enable and support adults to become self-reliant with short term/long term support therefore reducing the pressures on their families and adult social services when they are unable to manage their daily living requirements due to their mental health and/or cognitive disabilities. Loneliness, mental health support, debt management, support with correspondence and benefits will be a few of the support that will be provided along with psychosocial assessments will be completed at the start of the support to determine what areas to focus on, with regular reviews. Support will be person centred and tailored to the needs of the individuals and their family. Identify potential crisis areas to either work in a preventative way or to signpost to specialist services and/or report safeguarding concerns. I’m a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapists. Completed a care certificate and I have a BA Counselling Psychology, MASW – Qualifying Masters in Social Work, Voc Grd Dip Family Dispute Resolution. TAA Cert 4 – Training and Assessment. An initial free 30 min consult assessment will be offered if required via phone/teams to determine suitability for enablement support. All appointments available after hours and at weekends. 1 + hour sessions will be offered at £12 per session online/phone support, or £17.50 Face 2 Face Support in the local community extra charges may occur if out of North Kent Area. Additional costs may occur if a private consult room is required as this will need to be booked. If counselling/psychotherapy is required, then this will be charged on a sliding scale. Payments can be made via bank transfer or be setting up Direct Payments via KCC. |
