Bridgepoint Alliance LTD is a family owned and run provider of supported living and person-centred care to adults and older people in living in their own homes within Hertfordshire. We support client groups aged 18 – 65+, ranging from people diagnosed with dementia/ autistic spectrum disorders, long term health conditions, mental health needs, sensory impaired, frail and/or physical disabilities and complex medical needs.

Our model of service is based on 3 pillars, which are Care, Support and Integrate.

Care – We aim to tailor the care and support we provide, ensuring this personal to you. Our staff are experienced in managing and addressing both health and social care needs of all our clients.

Support – We support and enable you to manage with activities of daily living with an aim to increasing your ability to live independently in your home in a safe and responsible manner. Our goal is to ensure you achieve and maintain the best possible level of independence and quality of life.

Integrate – We believe in working with you, your family and people important to you, including other healthcare professionals to ensure we develop and deliver a package of support which is unique to each person we support and care for.

Our management includes experienced professionals in Health and Social Care and possess the skills and expertise to meet your care and support needs.

Our Management

The Managing Director is a registered nurse with over 40 years in healthcare. Her nursing and homecare experience includes supporting clients  with a wide range of needs, including those with enduring illnesses, physical or learning disabilities, mental health needs, brain injury and dementia.

Our Manager and Care Coordinator has worked in in both nursing homes, community as well as in the acute services. He is passionate in providing diabetes care to people suffering from this chronic condition. He has a Degree and Masters in Diabetes, Certificate in Health and Social Care Management.

The Registered Manager is responsible for the safe delivery of care on a day-to-day basis. She has many years of experience in nursing, including working in several care homes and domiciliary services. Her relevant qualifications include, Master’s in project management, Degree in Public Health and Health Promotion, Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies in Health and Social Care and Leadership for Frontline Managers- NHS Academy. She has worked as a ward manager and matron.

Our collective experience, knowledge and drive, gives us a strong understanding of the care and support sector but as people, we are passionate about what we do and genuinely believe in delivering good quality care and support.

We are also members of  the Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA)  which provides our company with training and support for all levels of staff within our company.

Personal Care Services

Assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Meal preparation and nutritious meal planning and cooking tailored to their dietary needs.

Medication management, ensuring proper medication adherence and administration.

Household Support

Cleaning, laundry, and maintenance tasks to keep the home safe and comfortable.

Transportation:

Services to assist with getting to medical appointments, social activities, and running errands.

Shopping Assistance:

Help with grocery shopping and other errands.

Companionship Services:

Regular visits, attending events, visiting friends and family, and social interaction to prevent loneliness and isolation.

Activity Coordination:

Organizing recreational and social activities to keep retirees engaged and active.

Technology Assistance:

Helping retirees stay connected with family and friends through technology, such as setting up and using computers, smartphones, and video calling.

Respite and Family Support :

Temporary relief for primary caregivers, allowing them to take breaks while ensuring their loved ones are cared for.

Diabetes Care:

Specialist support with management and self-care activities  for clients suffering with diabetes and its effects.

Palliative and Hospice Care:

Comfort care for those with serious illnesses, focusing on quality of life and symptom management.

In-Home Nursing Care:

Assistance from our registered nurses and trained carers for nursing needs such as respiration or airway problems, support with bowel, stoma, and catheter care,  parenteral feeding such as PEG and NG feeding and end of life care.

 

We are happy to accept direct payments for those who need choice, greater flexibility and more control over the support they get.
