My name is Gina and I am passionate about supporting families living with a dementia as a companion and/or advocate. A dementia diagnosis whilst complex does not mean the end as there is a whole lot of living to do in between. It requires compassion, understanding and empathy, I believe I have these qualities in abundance.
Whether it is ‘being with’ your loved one or helping you as family to navigate the complex health and social system I can help.
I have a range of skills and founded the Exeter Dementia Action Alliance in 2014. I currently lead the alliance on a part time basis as a consultant as well as working directly with families to ease their load.
My offer includes :
companionship for your loved one to enable you to catch up with friends, take a break or have some ‘you’ time. After all we can’t give from an empty cup
Call me for an informal chat as I can offer a bespoke service to suit your needs
testimonials available on request from families I am supporting
