Hi, my name is Corina and I’m pleased to meet you.
I love my role supporting people, giving them help as and when it’s most needed; it’s hugely rewarding. The people and families I support have fed back to me that my timely input has been invaluable, delivered with the utmost dignity and compassion.
I’m here to help with a wide range of tasks. I’ve listed a few here, but please note that this is by no means exhaustive. Services include: companionship/sitting with, accompanying to appointments, personal care, emotional support, days out, practical support, feeding, meal prep, help with errands and light housework, shopping, pet sitting for small pets, dog walking, administrative assistance and help with technology (phones, tablets, laptops).
Over the past three decades, I’ve worked in various fields (admin, customer service, carer, etc). I’m used to adapting to different countries having previously lived and worked in Germany, Cyprus, Spain, Netherlands and now the UK. I launched ‘By Your Side’, my business, as a means of being able to connect with my local community, offering my help and services to make a positive difference to those around me.
I have a mature, thoughtful approach, together with years of knowledge and experience gained from caring for and supporting others. Radiating a natural warmth with an upbeat personality, I always greet people with a smile. I welcome working with people from diverse backgrounds. Originally from Bucharest (Romania), I moved here in 2016.
I have two cats and a small garden which I enjoy spending time in. My interests include walking, swimming and socialising with family and friends.
By Your Side, is what I’m all about, however, what I offer is so much more. With my dedicated support, people thrive. By reaching out to people, I ensure that they can continue doing what is important to them, as well as their every day tasks and activities. I help them retain their independence and skills. To my mind, it’s all about people enjoying the best possible quality of life for as long as possible. In addition to the practical aspect, I offer emotional support and person-centred care. I adapt the tasks and my visits depending on what’s needed, flexing it to fit evolving needs and schedules.
I have business insurance in place, a current enhanced DBS check and all my training is up-to-date. Also, I am a member of National Association of Care and Support Workers. Although not a driver myself, I can arrange suitable public transport when necessary.
Please drop me a note today and let’s see how I can help you create a brighter future!
