Some things to think about when you're looking for care or support
Find out moreHi, I’m Rob Wicke of Wicke’s Wellness Coaching. I’ve successfully supported people to make positive changes in their lives for many years now – it’s a real passion of mine!
My coaching is solution-focused. Together we explore the opportunities you want to take, and find ways round, over, under, and through the roadblocks that may prevent your progress – enabling you to take action with confidence.
Most of my change-making work has been as a community development worker for different charities, supporting people and groups to make changes in their communities, but I’m now setting out on my own to coach clients directly, in a way that works for them. I love the personal connection, I’m friendly, supportive and challenging in a sensitive way, and I believe I have a powerful approach to offer in my one-to-one client-focused sessions. I’m currently completing an ADCT Integrated Diploma in Holistic Life, Wellness and Resilience Coaching to supercharge what I do and help my clients even more!
Examples of client situations:
What the session may look like: We will find an environment that feels safe and welcoming, this may be your home, out in nature, or in a room we’ve hired. We will then discuss the change you want to make and work out a game plan for putting it into action. We will focus on your strengths and what inspires you, and weave these into your solutions for maximum impact. We aim to get you to a place where you will leave the session with actions you are committed to, a clear direction you are going in, and a confidence in yourself to make a positive difference to your life.
What my coaching cannot do: support you to uncover and deal with traumatic thoughts. There are specialists out there such as therapists and counsellors who are better placed for this. If you’re feeling suicidal please contact the Samaritans – Call 116 123 Email jo@samaritans.org or follow the NHS advice
