Martin’s care

Hello!

My name is Corina , I have 23 years of experience in this field and I still enjoy it every day.

I gained a large part of my experience in Italy where I worked in orthopedic surgery , ambulatory care and finally geriatrics.

For almost 7 years I have been providing assistance and support to people who may have physical or mental conditions, disabilities or elderly people who need help in their daily activities, preserving continuity and dignity in their own home.

I am responsible for assisting clients with tasks such as personal care, social care, palliative care, meal preparation, feeding if needed, medication management, transportation and companionship.

I have experience with dementia, diabetic care, incontinence management, skin/pressure area care, catheter/stoma care , special needs including autism and ADHD.

Mobility assistance, walking support, transfer from one place to another, use of mobility aids and provision of a safe environment. It is important to note that specific tasks and the level of assistance provided may vary based on individual needs and preferences.

Excellent organizational skills, common sense communication and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

I am fully DBS checked , self employed.

I hope to give you the peace of mind and provide the necessary experience to suit each client’s specific needs.

Reviews of Martin’s care

Martin’s Care are a small team of carers who help me to look after my husband at home. They are excellent with their professional but kind and compassionate service, often helping beyond expectations and I consider that my husband and I are very lucky to have them.

We have been using Martins Care for just over a year. We as a family cannot recommend them highly enough. They are in constant contact with myself (client's Daughter) or my Niece (client's Granddaughter) keeping us up to date with my Mums health, how she has been and how she has eaten. They recommend anything which they think will help make her more comfortable. My mum is bed ridden but they work really hard keeping her comfortable and taking great care of her. They prepare many different meals for her especially if she says there is something she would really like. Before they leave they make sure everywhere is clean and tidy with all rubbish taken away. There is nothing they will not do if it is in my mums interest. They are all very friendly and happy to talk to us, put our mind at ease and help us in any way they can. I have given them five stars only because that was the maximum I could give.
